What to expect

1

Application

Anyone involved can reach out to get the process started.

Depending on the role I will play and the dynamics of the situation, I may require applications from additional parties before I can determine whether I am the right fit for the situation or establish fees and terms.

2

Agreement

If it is a fit, I explain fees and terms. Everyone who participates signs an agreement before we begin.

3

Finding the gap

I speak with each person separately. This may include multiple conversations and questions to answer between conversations.

4

Closing the gap

If appropriate and congruent with the desired outcome, I facilitate the conversation(s) necessary to move forward.

If distance is more productive, I help define and facilitate what moving forward looks like for everyone involved.

My commitment

Objectivity. I do not advocate for an outcome. My role is to understand every position well enough to see it objectively, translate it, facilitate communication, and provide guidance, strategy, and recommendations for reaching your desired outcome.

Honesty. I communicate what I see directly, clearly, and with care, including the parts that are hard to hear.

Privacy. What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions. FAQ.

Clear boundaries. Legal and financial terms stay with your attorneys and advisors. Clinical care stays with licensed clinicians.

Creativity. I look past the obvious and think outside of the box.

“It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it.”

Seneca, On the Shortness of Life, c. 49 CE, translated by C.D.N. Costa, 1997
